Busy busy day today. First did some council emails and then drove over to Stanmore for the HSS UK for Sangh Shiksha Varg 2025. This was a fascinating briefing for councillors and I met many friends from both Earley and Woodley and the wider Reading area.
HSS do a huge amount for education and charity and the atmosphere with all the attendees you and old was amazing, I was pleased my WBC colleagues Vishal Srinivasan and Cllr Rohit Ahlawat were also there and we also had some time to catch up. I took back a couple of actions around encouraging the council to include Hindu organisations in both SACRE and the equalities forum - another body that had been missed by the council!
